The ACSA will review proposals.

Submissions selected for the conference will be contacted via email by the end of June. These speakers will be asked to complete a speaker agreement and adhere to the terms and conditions for presentations outlined therein.

Submissions not selected for the conference will be notified by the end of June.

Building on the foundational aspects of safety, this year’s theme, Safety Foundations: Constructing a Culture of Excellence, continues our pursuit of safety and business excellence.

Speakers should be familiar with last year’s sold-out conference, which focused on psychological health and safety in the construction industry.

Submissions must advance the conference theme. We are particularly interested in the following topics:

• Legislation/compliance/standards/case law
• Research/case studies
• Innovation/technology
• Best practices on specific health and safety topics:
  • Contract management
  • Work organization/design (link to psychological health and safety)
  • Occupational hygiene/environmental factors (link to psychological health and safety)
  • Managing complex teams (language, cultures, generations)

Preference will be given to hands-on, interactive workshops. Practical take-aways are required, including a 1-page handout for attendees.

• Submissions must be provided via the official submission form – no submissions sent via email will be considered.
• Errors, misspellings, and incorrect abbreviations will not be corrected.
• An individual may submit more than one proposal. One official online submission is required for each proposal.
• There is no fee to submit proposals.

By submitting a speaker proposal to the conference, submitters authorize, upon acceptance, the permission to reproduce their presentation description, photo and biography in the conference program and website.
